Mr Walid Sabbagh MB ChB MSc FRCS FRCS(Plast)
Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic
Surgeon
Walid Sabbagh graduated from the University of Aberdeen
Medical School in 1992. He completed his basic surgical training in
Yorkshire and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of
England in 1996. He gained a Masters in Surgical Sciences in 1997
following a year in research at the University College London in
the field of tissue engineering for which he was awarded a research
prize.
He then entered 6 years of higher surgical
training in Plastic Surgery rotating between the leading centres in
London. At the completion of his training he was awarded the
FRCS(Plast), in 2002, by the Royal College of Surgeons and admitted
to the GMC's specialist register.
Mr Sabbagh is a member of the British Association of Plastic
Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BAPRAS) and the
British Association of Aesthetic Plastic
Surgery (BAAPS). He has published comprehensively within the
Plastic Surgery journals and regularly presents his work at
national and international meetings.
Mr Sabbagh has developed an interest in the fields of Aesthetic
Surgery and the highly specialized area of Ear Reconstruction. He
has a busy private practice in cosmetic surgery and as a consultant
in the NHS he provides a national service for Ear
Reconstruction.
